Part III returns to home video in Italy this September!
Anime Factory and Yamato Video will be joining forces to release Lupin III: Part III on DVD and Blu-ray in Italy!
Volume one of the pink jacket series will hit home video on the 23rd of September, 2021. More volumes are to drop at a later date, with all fifty episodes planned as part of the full release.
Each set will include uncensored episodes, partially re-recorded Italian dub audio and 1080p HD visuals on Blu-ray. This will mark the first time Part III has aired in Italy in uncensored format, including fully uncut episodes from the original Japanese run. Volume one includes the first twenty-five episodes of the series.
All fifty episodes are currently streaming over on Prime Video, but Lupin super-fans will no doubt want to pick up the physical set for its exclusive packaging and special features (the latter is to be announced at a later date).
The Lupin III series has been a popular part of Italian television culture since it first aired back in the 1970’s / 80’s, and the pink jacket series is arguably the most recognisable.
Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions are currently avalible to pre-order over on Amazon Italia.
