Zenigata and the Two Lupin's ONA now available in Japan!

It’s finally here - the spin-off Lupin the IIIRD film centred around Inspector Zenigata is now available to watch on streaming services in Japan!

Lupin the IIIRD: Zenigata and the Two Lupins is a shorter, 54-minute-long prequel to the upcoming feature film Lupin the IIIRD: THE MOVIE ~ Immortal Bloodline. The ONA (original net animation) is a continuation of previous animated works in the Lupin the IIIRD spin-off franchise, and it feeds directly into the upcoming film - so if you are planning on catching that, do not skip out on watching Zenigata and the Two Lupin’s first!

First impressions on Letterboxed and Blusky have been positive, with a few keen fans stating that it might be their favourite of the Lupin the IIIRD spin-off films yet. As shown in the trailer at the bottom of this post, the tone of Two Lupin’s is a fair bit darker than the likes of the usual Lupin III affair, with story beats involving strong political themes, violence, and terror attacks. As with other works in the spin-off series, Zenigata appears in his most competent form here, more than ready to go toe to two with not only one, but two versions of his rival, Lupin.
