Blue jacket spans various newer works in the franchise.

There are currently three parts in the blue jacket line of works—Lupin III: Part 4, Lupin III: Part 5 and the Takeshi Koike film spin-off trilogy, Lupin the IIIrd.

If you are new to the series, we recommend checking out Lupin III: Part 4 first.

If you are familiar with the series and appreciate the darker tones of the manga and the Fujiko Mine spin-off, we suggest checking out the Lupin the IIIrd films - Jigen’s Gravestone, Goemon’s Blood Spray, and Fujiko’s Lie.
