Part 6 clean OP video released!
A clean, creditless version of the Lupin III: Part 6 opening animation is now available on YouTube!
The short title sequence contains character designs by lead artist Hirotaka Marufuji, and music by series veteran Yuji Ohno. The opening stars the gang on their adventures within London, the primary setting for Part 6.
An additional video has also been released, including the music from the opening. Satoshi Izumi stars in the video, playing the guitar sections of the song live on camera. Composer Yuji Ohno has stated in interviews that a heavy guitar presence features in the new track due to the show’s London setting — the home of classic “punk rock”.
