The Castle of Cagliostro gets a 4D cinema experience!
The 4K version of Hayao Miyazaki’s 1979 film "The Castle of Cagliostro" is getting a limited time 4D experience in Japan!
For those unaware, 4D films include moving seats and many practical effects, such as water, wind, flashing lights and smells. The film will hit select cinemas from Friday the 8th of November, 2019. Check out the trailer below!
Director Takeshi Koike celebrates upcoming Hamanaka Town festival!
Koike, who is more recently known for directing the trilogy of Lupin the IIIrd films, started with the series back in 2012 as character designer and animator on The Woman Called Fujiko Mine. He is also well known for directing the 2009 animated film, Redline.
The drawing also acts as a homage to the late Kazuhiko Katō (Monkey Punch), who sadly passed away in April 2019 (we all still miss you, Mr. Monkey)!
