"The Immortal Bloodline" coming to cinemas in the UK from February 21st!
Good news, fellow U.K. based Lupin fans! The recently released theatrical film, Lupin the IIIRD: THE MOVIE ~ The Immortal Bloodline is getting a wider cinema release in the United Kingdom, courtesy of Anime Limited!
While the film made its cinema debut in the United Kingdom late last year as part of the Scotland Loves Anime event, showings were limited to only one single screening in Glasgow, and another in Edinburgh. Now, it appears Anime Limited is planning a wider release beyond Scotland’s two busiest cities - and it is due to drop later this month, from February 21st, 2026!
In addition to Lupin, Anime Limited will be bringing several other animated theatrical films to the country, including ALL YOU NEED IS KILL, The Last Blossom, AKIRA, Angel’s Egg, ChaO, and Grave of the Fireflies. The upcoming blockbuster sequel Godzilla Minus Zero, directed by Lupin the First’s Takashi Yamazaki, is also due for a localised release across the United Kingdom in 2026.
As stated in All The Anime’s latest blog post, only the Japanese language audio dubbed version with English subtitles will be available. It is currently unclear exactly which cinemas will be showing the film - it may be worth checking in with your local theatre for more details nearer the date.
