Voyage to Danger streaming for FREE in the U.S this November!

The 1993 television special Lupin III: Voyage to Danger will be streaming on YouTube in the United States for free during November 2023! It is due to replace Jigen’s Gravestone, which has been streaming on the service throughout October.

This classic Lupin film was directed by Masaaki Ōsumi, the original director from the first few episodes of the 1971 green jacket television series, Part 1.

During the first TV series, Ōsumi was replaced with both Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. Unfortunately, it is said that he didn’t leave on the best terms.

The offer he received to direct Voyage to Danger was an apology of sorts, or as a mark of respect to help recognise what he did for the franchise. It is regarded as a relatively mid-tier Lupin special, that while is worth a watch, may not be your favourite.

The special will be available in the United States only and will include the Japanese language dub (with subtitles). Catch it while you can between November the 3rd through to November 30th.

When not watching or writing about Lupin, Lee helps make video games for a living and enjoys logging gaming progress over on GGapp.io.
