Three unreleased TV specials come to Italy next year!
More good news for fans of Lupin III in Italy!
Three television specials, Italian Game (2016), Goodbye Partner (2019), and Prison of the Past (2019), are due for release on Blu-ray as part of a triple-pack during early 2023.
While each has been made available via streaming services in the country previously, this triple-pack set marks the first time each has released in physical media format, on home video. The set features some gorgeous new packaging, shown below, and will set the standard for special / film releases in the country going forwards.
Licencing and distribution company Yamato Video plans to continue this trend, and release all Lupin films and specials on physical media over the next few years. This is fantastic news, as for a country so obsessed with everything Lupin, home video releases have been lacking in quantity.
