The second episode of the new Lupin III podcast, Sideburns & Cigarettes, is now available!

Sideburns & Cigarettes features five hosts (Drew, Beka, Chris, Jay, and Guillaume), who are a lovely bunch of Lupin super-fans and friends of the site. The second episode covers the first two episodes of the 1971 green jacket series, Is Lupin Burning...?! and The Man They Called a Magician.

(Recorded Nov. 18 & 25, 2019) Drew, Beka, Jay, and Chris discuss the latest new including Lupin The Third: The First, Prison of the Past, and the streaming release/dub of Goodbye Partner. As we venture into Lupin's first foray into television 1971's Part 1, , Will (Guillaume) educates on Masaaki Osumi's influence and direction for the first few episodes. Then the gang dives into episodes 1 and 2 of Part 1. They discuss uncomfortable tickling, groovy music, mass murder by electrocution, dandy/emo magicians, multiple concussions, the symbolic nature of butterflies, and much, much more.
