Sentai Filmworks have conducted a series of short interviews with the current Japanese voice talent for Lupin III.
So far, this has included Kanichi Kurita and Akio Ōtsuka, with likely more to come over the course of this week!
Taking over the role from Yasuo Yamada, Kurita has been voicing Lupin III since the release of the 1995 theatrical film, Farewell to Nostradamus.
Akio Ōtsuka has recently taken up the role of Daisuke Jigen from Kiyoshi Kobayashi, who retired from the industry during 2021 after a whopping fifty years.
Both interviews have been translated into English, and cover topics such as how it feels to be voicing the characters in Part 6. There is also a period of reflection, in which both talk fondly of Kiyoshi Kobayashi, and reminisce on their time in the industry.
