Richard Epcar announces new Cagliostro dub with classic voice cast
Content creator Jessica Kalei Sheffield has recently interviewed Richard Epcar on his voice acting career and work in the industry - and during which, he dropped the bomb of an upcoming new English dub of the classic Castle of Cagliostro!
Going by the interview, it sounds as if all of the other current English language Lupin III voice cast are also involved. This includes Tony Oliver, Lex Lang, Michelle Ruff, Doug Erholtz, and of course, Richard Epcar as the central cast members.
Richard Epcar has both written and directed the new English dub for the film, and a release date is due at some point in the near future. We heard whispers of the existence of said English dub some time ago now, and it appears that the release date of it has been pending for a while (perhaps even as long as a year). We share Richard’s hopes for a release soon - no doubt when both TMS Entertainment USA and the distributor for the new version is able to pull together the final version.
