Part 6 theme tune celebrates 2M views on YouTube!
It has been a little while since we have heard from Yuji Ohno's press account on social media - however, today, they have piped up in celebration of the Lupin III: Part 6 opening theme YouTube video hitting over 2M views!
The superb version of the classic Part 2 theme tune includes a heavy use of electric guitar - apt, considering Ohno reported to be channelling a British punk-rock vibe when composing the track back in 2021.
While we have not had an update on Ohno's health, after he was reported to have been hospitalized in March 2022, seeing updates on his press account in his manner is encouraging.
Congratulations on the two million views! Say what you will about Part 6 generally - but, this version of the theme tune is, in my opinion, undeniably one of the best.
