Part 6 BOX II out now in Japan!
The second (and final) home video release for Lupin III: Part 6 is now on sale for those living in Japan!
Released on DVD and Blu-ray today, June 22nd, 2022 (as it is past midnight in Japan at the time of writing), the second set features episodes thirteen to twenty-four. It comes complete with Japanese audio, bonus audio commentaries, preview videos, a creditless opening / ending, and more.
Those willing to shell out around 48,400 yen (roughly 360 USD) for both Part 6 boxes are eligible to claim a twenty-three postcard set, featuring artwork by series character designer Hirotaka Marufuji. The artwork included on each of these was originally uploaded onto social media by Marufuji himself at the time of each episode’s broadcast, and made for a nice treat after catching the gang’s latest adventure.
The Blu-ray set retails for around 26,400 yen, whereas the DVD is slightly cheaper, at 22,000 yen. Both can be ordered online, with a selection of retailers listed over on the products VAP store page.
In the United States, the English language dubbed version continues to run on the Adult Swim television channel every Saturday morning, at the slightly revised slot of 12:30am.

That’s right—there will be a quick change to the Toonami schedule on July 2nd 2022, as the slot will run a marathon of Shenmue the Animation. As a result, that weeks’ episode of Part 6 will instead broadcast the week following, on July 9th.
I will have my revenge on the man that killed my Lupin anime broadcast!
