Part 6 Blu-ray set to release in the U.S. early 2023!
Lupin III: Part 6—The Complete Collection is due for release on Blu-ray in the United States on January the 24th, 2023.
The set is currently up for pre-order over on Rightstuf for a limited time price of around $60. The recommended retail price is set at around $90.
Unlike recent Lupin releases within the U.S., due to licensing and distribution agreements, Part 6 will be coming to home video courtesy of Sentai Filmworks. This means that the usual consistent artwork and packaging from Discotek Media is absent from this release (although we still think it looks rather nice)!
All twenty-four episodes of the show will be included as part of the set, alongside the bonus episode, Episode 0: The Times, which bridges the gap between Part 5 and Part 6. It also acts as a final send-off for Jigen’s legendary Japanese voice actor, Kiyoshi Kobayashi, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
Special features include clean opening and ending animations, along with seven Japanese promotional videos. More details, such as the language versions included (we suspect both Japanese and English dubbed audio) are to be revealed closer to release.
