Netflix France release trailer for modern day take on original Arsène Lupin!

The first full trailer of Louis Leterrier and Netflix France’s modern day take on the original Arsène Lupin is here!

Omar Sy plays the character of Assane Diop, who’s life was turned upside down when his father died after being accused of a crime he didn’t commit. Twenty five years later, Assane will use Maurice LeBlanc’s "Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar" as his inspiration to avenge his father.

The full show releases on Netflix on January 8th, 2021.

Yes - the plot sounds a little dumb, but Omar Sy is a fantastic actor and it’s nice to see the original Arsène Lupin back in the spotlight - especially in France, on the authors very own home turf!

Personally, we prefer the French original - this is a great opportunity for Omar and the cast to make a splash in new territories, and in my opinion, watching with dubbed audio sours the performance a touch.
