Lupin wins big at VFX-JAPAN!
The 2019 3D animated feature film Lupin III: The First has won a top prize at VFX-JAPAN 2021!
The Lupin gang have walked away with the award for “best animated feature film”, beating the likes of Human Lost and The Magnificent Kotobuki Complete Edition.
In other categories, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! won “best live action adaptation”, Altered Carbon: Resleeved best TV anime and Death Stranding best video game.
It is incredible to see that the film is still so celebrated over a year since its initial release, and that it has performed well enough to warrant a roll out to other territories (having recently released in France, Italy, North America, and soon in the United Kingdom).
