Lupin the 3rd: The TV Specials Collection 6 - 10 releases this June!
Discotek Media have announced that their upcoming Blu-ray release of the sixth to tenth Lupin III television specials will ship starting on June 30th, 2026. Pre-orders are currently available via Media OCD, Amazon, and the Crunchyroll online store for an early bird price of $53.96 ($59.95 RRP).
All five films being re-released on high-definition media here are listed below:
Burn, Zantetsuken! / Dragon of Doom (1994) - Includes both Japanese and English language audio
The Pursuit of Harimao's Treasure (1995) - Includes both Japanese and English language audio
The Secret of Twilight Gemini (1996) - Includes both Japanese and English language audio, with an alternate family-friendly English dub also included
Island of Assassins (1997) - Includes both Japanese and English language audio
Tokyo Crisis (1998) - Includes both Japanese and English language audio
The release comes with region A discs only, and special features include vintage credit sequences, an alternate (censored family-friendly) English dub of Secret of the Twilight Gemini, alternate animation sequences for the same, liner notes, and a vintage English dub easter egg.
This is a nice collection with some superb, classic, Lupin animation. If you are just starting your journey through the series and are yet to see the films included here, picking this up should be a no-brainer. For long-time fans of the series such as myself - the temptation of re-watching these in high definition is a strong one!
