Happy birthday, Monkey Punch!
Today, May 26th, 2021, would mark Monkey Punch’s 84th birthday.
It is now over two years since the late series’ creator passed away - and his work is just as fondly remembered today as it always has been. The Lupin franchise remains celebrated worldwide, and is doing better than ever globally with thanks to new works - such as Lupin III: The First.
This year comes as an extra special one, as what better way to celebrate than with a manga collection and a brand new television series, Lupin III: Part 6.
We hope that he continues to rest in peace, and that his work will inspire others for many years to come.
