Alcatraz Connection comes to Prime!
The 2001 TV special Lupin III: Alcatraz Connection is now available digitally in North America!
Unlike previous digital releases, the thirteenth TV special is only available with its original Japanese language audio track. This is as despite getting a DVD release in North America thanks to Discotek Media, the special has yet to receive a dub outside of Japan and Italy. In the Japanese dub, Kanichi Kurita stars as Lupin III, Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Daisuke Jigen and Makio Inoue as Fujiko Mine.
The special opens up with a fun chase sequence, with Hiroyuki Imaishi of Studio Trigger fame providing some lovely key animation work.
