A first-look at the Lupin Kabuki play!
Japanese news website Asahi has posted a five- or so-minute spotlight video, showing footage from the Lupin III Kabuki stage play, which is currently showing in Japan!
The play includes an all-male cast for the lead roles, a Kabuki tradition, and features:
Lupin III: 片岡 愛之助 (Ainosuke Kataoka)
Goemon XIII: 尾上 松也 (Matsuya Onoe)
Jigen Daisuke: 市川 笑三郎 (Saburō Ichikawa)
Fujiko Mine: 市川 笑也 (Emiya Ichikawa)
Inspector Zenigata: 市川 中車 (Chūsha Ichikawa)

The costume photos, which were first shared by website Natalie a few weeks back, show some superb shots of the gang, and the show itself seems to have gone down a treat with audiences. Early shots show that there are more than a few references to the animated show - including a direct reference to that episode from Lupin III: Part 2, Hanafubuki: The Mysterious Gang of Five!
