U.K. Blu-ray of PART 6 delayed, standard edition announced

The upcoming home video collector's edition release of Lupin III: PART 6 has been delayed by two weeks in the United Kingdom due to production issues.

The news was confirmed in an e-mail (as seen below) sent to those who have pre-ordered the set earlier today, and the date on the official website has been updated to reflect this. The set was previously due to ship on April 15th 2024, and it is now due to release on April 29th 2024.

The boxed set, which was previously on sale for the introductory price of £49.99 (now £61.99) contains all twenty-four episodes, in addition to Kiyoshi Kobayashi's special send-off episode, "Episode 0 ~ The Times".

Also included in the set is a 52-page art booklet, featuring character profiles, sketch sheets, background artwork, and more. Both the English and Japanese audio versions feature, along with English language subtitles.

Clean opening and ending animations, along with seven television promos make up the special features, and all three discs some in a special digipak with a collectors slip case.

In addition to the collectors set, a standard edition version (pictured above) is also releasing in the United Kingdom and certain parts of Europe.

The standard set is currently up for pre-order on Zavvi, and is due to release on April 22nd (slightly earlier than the collectors set). It is currently priced at £36.99, which is around £25 cheaper than the collectors set. This is in line with other series releases in the United Kingdom, where both PART 4 and PART 5 received slightly more affordable, standard edition sets.

You can pre-order the collectors set here, and check out our reviews for each individual episode of PART 6 by visiting our review hub here.
